Symbol of Desktop Health Area

by Renee Lindstrom, GCFP @ Inside Awareness, Living in Natures Love Blog & Renee Lindstrom Live

This figurine reflects a movement pattern that flows with a focus of attention on cultivating awareness.  For this teacher it  is a visual image of the Feldenkrais Method, the flow of inner and outer communication,  and spatial awareness.

This is the reminder I enjoy while working. It encompasses personal movement health and a visual message to get up and flex joints. However it also reflects a way of being that I want to strive for in my office and in teaching others in theirs. #Honesty#Equality#Balance

Desk Knowledge Corner

by Renee Lindstrom, GCFP @ Inside Awareness, Living in Natures Love Blog & Renee Lindstrom Live

This is the knowledge corner.  It also can reflect higher knowledge and spiritual connection.  In the office this may be where the placement of business plan, guides and human resource information is located.  If one is focused on higher business education this may be where learning program information is kept.   If one is integrating a sacred connection into the workplace this area may be the best placement for a little reminder of that.

3 tips for the knowledge corner

  1. Keep this area tide and free of clutter for clarity.
  2. Add the blue spectrum of colours to this area.
  3. This is an area to represent left brain structure and organization.  If placing business goals, plans and guidelines use bookends to hold them upright.  If creating a sacred connection and using a figure, ensure it is on a pedestal.

The helpful people area is reflective of your office peers  and customer community.  It is to set an intention for networking and building connections.  It is a great placement for your appointment book and business cards you have received.

3 tips for the helpful people area:

  1. This area needs to be de-cluttered with open space.
  2. Add grey spectrum of colours.
  3. Add a picture of happy people that reflect they type you would like to draw in for your career or business success.

Desk Future Segment

by Renee Lindstrom, GCFP @ Inside Awareness, Living in Natures Love Blog & Renee Lindstrom Live

This area represents fun, adventure, creativity and growth.  Like other areas on your desk it is relevant to spend time considering this area and it’s significance in your experience.  If you have too many lofty ideas your work will suffer, however if you don’t have any there is no spontaneous momentum for growth.

3 tips for future area:

  1. De-clutter area and make space.
  2. Add grey and metallic colours.
  3. Add objects to represent creativity, like zen type round and metal objects.

Desk Past Segment

by Renee Lindstrom, GCFP @ Inside Awareness, Living in Natures Love Blog & Renee Lindstrom Live

This area represents honoring the ancestors.  For me in the office this area  reflects the ground or foundation of a persons individual work or of the business itself.  It would be the best area to set aside completed work and/or projects.

Three tips for the Past Area:

  1. Declutter this area.
  2. Add green spectrum of living nature.
  3. Add living plant or flowers with roots.

Desk Fame Segment

by Renee Lindstrom, GCFP @ Inside Awareness, Living in Natures Love Blog & Renee Lindstrom Live

The fame area of the Bagua reflects ones essence or character, and recognition in the community.  This could be reflected by what one could hope would be on their memorial announcement.  This may include loving partner and parent who will be missed, contributing member to the community with a list of events or achievements left behind.  Unlike career where the focus is on your skill.

3 tips for desk fame area

  1. De-clutter and open space up.
  2. Add red range of colours.
  3. Add light  to this area (candle).

Desk Wealth Corner

by Renee Lindstrom, GCFP @ Inside Awareness, Living in Natures Love Blog & Renee Lindstrom Live

This desk corner is about abundance. Abundance in finances, investments and resources.  For me it also represents abundance in the quality of experiencing life and relationships that includes the cycle of giving and receiving.  An example is the balance of giving and taking.    If wealth is from natural resources the question is in the equal contribution back to restore and maintain the quality of the nature and the environment.  In other words is one just taking and not  giving back?

3 Wealth Corner Tips:

  1. Declutter and open up space in this corner
  2. Add blue, purple and red colours
  3. Add objects reflecting moving water such as fish (3), picture,  or fountain
