How do you learn? Where do your emotions and thoughts come from?

#1.  You are borne into an environment

This is how a culture is formed!

#2.  You have the INHERENT ability to learn INDEPENDENTLY stimulated and shaped by your environment

First learning is inspired through movement!

If your environment is safe, open and free your thoughts, emotions, movements and  behavior will reflect these qualities.  You will likely be more flexible in your actions.  However if your environment is a prison filled with hate and poverty your thoughts and behavior will reflect these qualities!  You will likely be more conservative and restricted in your actions.

The good news is you never stop learning!  You have the ability to change your own conditions through awareness techniques and skill building that will create the environment for your own future generations!  Change the future by shifting the past, now in conscious presence.

Make a difference.  It begins with you!

Why?  836996

To go beyond the imposed constraints and false emotional realities,

To support a healthier culture that cares for themselves, others and the planet equally.

To live as though values matter,

By speaking your values creating autonomy

and valuing others values equally creating interdependence!

To use gravity effectively to attain balance, consider your bones as the structure of support in the design of your body, and values as the structure of support in your relationships.

Definition of Sacred Space @ Inside

Sacred space is an experience created by one’s inner connection that is reflected in one’s outer nature and the their environment.  It is the ability to experience a particular connection to; oneself,  what is above, what is below and around oneself in the landscape.  This connection includes reverence and honor.  It represents balance within oneself of the physical (north, south, east & west), mental (masculine), emotional (feminine) and belief systems (values, devotion).

Shifting the planet to green together  &  our differences are in the solutions not the values. Values are in harmony!

If wo/man takes time to consider inner values and share them with a willingness to hear what is important to others, the solutions will more likely include both of set needs.  By listening first, before solutions,  the results will be more open and expansive versus closed and limiting. (*mirroring mindfulness) This will be the change that will shift the planet to green as  this behavior could replace conflict.  It may be surprising to hear that there is no conflict at the level of values, only in the solutions and strategies.

Personal connection to the environment is reflected in personal surroundings at home, work and play.  It is experienced in our immediate surroundings by the decisions made and personal actions taken.  These decisions and actions are experienced in the present and future and impact the  quality of life, lifestyles and relationships.

Try answering these easy questions:

1.  Begin by considering what is meaningful to you in nature and make a list of qualities that reflect this.  Some examples might be; space, order, beauty, interesting,  fun and quiet.

2.  Now consider how your home reflects these qualities.  Ask yourself if your personal space reflects the same qualities that you enjoy in nature?

3.  Next consider the surroundings at work or school with the same inner question of whether it has the qualities you enjoy in nature.

4.   Once you have considered your structural support take time to consider what you do for play.  Do you play in nature?  Where do you spend your time? What do you focus your attention on?  Are you making any time to enjoy your natural environment?

Take time to integrate your responses

The Environment reflects the story of man and is no longer a respected teacher & provider

Imagine Water lifestyles

Our environment models and reflects back to us the patterns of our reactive behavior in and out of balance.  Our space defines us and tells our stories! This includes; homes, offices, schools, countries and the natural environment.

Inside on Mindfulness in Nature & Mindfulness for Nature

Mindfulness in Nature & Mindfulness for Nature (can you see tanker in background?)

Mindfulness in nature is an outdoor experience and mindfulness for nature, is how we care for the environment.   Healthier decisions for the environment  will be made when there is a direct connection with nature.  Inside Awareness has the perspective that wo/man will be more willing to take care of  the planet collectively once they individually connect to their inner values and clearly understand what is meaningful to them in  relationship to nature.  If one is not aware of what is meaningful for them in their environment, it is a disconnection and the first step to an imbalance in caring for it.

Inside’s Mindfulness Behavior Principle

Sooke Potholes

Grounded Stillness

Inside Awareness Behavior principles are founded upon one similar to the first steps in a of Buddhist Mediation.  In meditation one is sitting on a cushion to become comfortable being still in space while watching their thoughts.  The purpose is to become *mindful and to experience the environment coming into ones awareness softly versus directing ones attention outwardly. The difference in these two focuses of attention is that one is open and expanded,  and other one is closed and limiting.
