I sought out a good online supplier and retailer of Crystal products. When I found Energy Muse online, I enjoyed to learn they share a similar viewpoint on the crystal values and their benefits through lifestyle placements. I became an affiliate marketer of their online store.

I have actively engaged with Crystals since the mid-nineties and had the opportunity to meet some of the original crystal wholesalers that supplied the province I live in. It’s a beautiful memory of a rewarding and beneficial journey integrating crystals into daily life. As a somatic empath, I can only describe the connection as mutual friendships. Imagine engaging with them from a heartfelt loving kindness, while around the globe, they are not valued as anything except as a strategy to get ahead financially. Even the people living around the mines are losing resources and benefits as the resources are stripped away. It’s a mutual interaction for the crystals on my desk that you witness. As I love one crystal, there is no boundary. I believe it goes out to all on the planet.

Today may be a no meat day for me! Luckily I start the day off with fresh celery juice and ginger followed later with fruit smoothie with an orange for Vit C. Thankful fermented sauerkraut is ready – occasion to eat it later. Possibly a lighter food plan for today.

getting InTouch - Value - Food

What is your relationship with food? ย Reflect on howย you personally feel about your diet. ย Consider if you find the textures, colors and tastes pleasurable to your senses. ย If not, what might the cause be? ย  Reflect upon whether you may be taking food for granted or if you have a deep appreciation for food.

It is only when we have an inner appreciation for our food that we will connect to giving from the heart to others with less than ourselves without guilt, shame or resentment. ย  Renee, June ’14

Body Balance โ€“ Re-introducing Food

When someone has stopped eating a balanced diet due to health, pain, depression and simply not having the energy, the hardest thing to consider is starting to eat again. ย The thought is too much effort. ย It is overwhelming and a challenge. ย One may feel resistance, doubt and frustration. ย If ย there is any residual effects of pain, sickness and struggle, ย food and diet may be the last thing on the priority list.

Our body naturally goes into survival without a balanced intake of food and ย it will increase anxiety, fear, depression, impatience, frustration and anger. ย It will ย distort critical judgement and slow understanding, clarity and perception. ย This will distort perception and encourage painful behaviors. ย Here are some steps to consider for making it easier:

Steps for reintroducing food for ease and support

  • Step โ€“ get InTouch with a familiar diet

Throw out ย rules and diet concepts. ย Remember back to the foods enjoyed in the past. ย Connect to the diet that is familiar (when growing up). Have conversation with a support team about the meals and foods enjoyed in the past. ย 

*Remember this can be tweaked. ย Be patient.

  • Step โ€“ get Support: plan for a complete structure

Find support to make a simple plan. ย Those in the supporting remember to focus on how to do it versus what to do. ย It is the how that is overwhelming! Post pictures of portion sizes of where to start. ย The first area to consider is protein intake. ย A healthy balance to begin is 20 grams of protein per meal with veggies, fruit and smaller portions of carbs. ย This is what 20 grams of protein would look like.

  • Step #3 โ€“ get a Meal Plan together

Get support to write out a one week plan of meals and snacks. ย The chart would include: breakfast, lunch and dinner with some snack ideas. ย Post this in a convenient place.

Example ~ Created for a Senior who stopped eating due to two years of prepared unfamiliar food that was disliked.

  • Step #4 – Shopping List

Create an adaptable shopping list made up that only requires check marks beside the items for the weeks shopping needs.
