Imagine eating something that contributes to your whole well-being; physical, mental, emotionally and spiritually

I recently posted a picture of sourdough bread on Instagram with a mention that I hadn’t purchased bread in a year.  It got a few heart likes and some reply’s.

What I didn’t have space to write is the difference in me reaching for my bread and noticing my room mates plastic bags of bread.   Now I can differentiate between my experience of my baked bread and purchased plastic bags of bread from the grocer.  I have a connection to the bread that wasn’t there before that is tangible. An illusive experience of connection has become obvious through integration of growing a sourdough starter and feeding it for over a year while learning to create loaves of bread with it.

For me, this is an act of illusive activism as well.  No more plastic bags, twist ties or plastic tabs to hold the bag together!  It’s a win, win.  Healthier connection to food resources, healing myself and the planet.

Why healing?  Imagine eating something that you connects you to your own creativity and contributes to your whole well-being; physical, mental, emotional and spiritually.  Each mouth full is a feel good moment.  It deepens inner support and confident and strength.  Especially for those of us that didn’t have the tools modeled for them to tap into their inner strength.

Wellness & Healing Retreats with Renee Lindstrom: Heart Centered Opening & Closing

Beautiful community pathway to book-end wellness and healing retreat!

An evening participant arrival stimulated setting out solar lights that surprised us with this gift of star-shaped light.

Participant comment:
Well, I’m back home, and I am missing being in your environment. Life is trying to impose on my plans. I will have to be diligent in order not to get derailed. First things first. Still smiling over the experience though, but I am finding being here a shock to my system from the nurturing of last week. Blessings to you Renee 🙂

Do you live in your own culture of love & respect?

Recently I have begun sharing how my spring and summer is spent planting, gathering of flowers, leave & roots to make wonderful remedies. The purpose comes from hearing my clients express their concern, guilt, resentment and dependency upon pharma care products a13466358_10207722029426878_7619154285081841108_ns my hope is to model a different pattern and experience. I believe that pharma care lacks love of any living thing and is teaching us not to value ourselves. Therefore my hope of intention is to bring back love and care that is the bases for a healing outcome. When I work with nature in such a personal way I love it and would like to say feel the love back. This is the foundation I would like for healing and support. To take something that I feel appreciation for empowered by being a partner in the process of making it equals loving oneself!
