Finding a Front Doors Cardinal Direction

To find the front door’s cardinal direction stand inside the front door and face out to take a reading using a compass.  I have found a great app for my phone that makes this easier than my old compass!  Below is a picture of the reading from inside my front door.   My front door faces SW.  This would make my front door a great candidate for painting red.  Too bad it is a rental home! Perhaps I can paint the trim around the window red!
