A small park near my office has been a great place to have children connect in conversations that introduces saying what they see, feel and need versus what they think. A driftwood talking stick has been a wonderful tool of encouragement to speak honestly and slowly.
Imagine my joyful surprise to see a large driftwood shaped like a giraffe installed with surrounding pit that could resemble and talking pit! Quite a coincidence!
