Read to end to find out the placement of these crystal and stone shapes
When choosing your crystals for healing, protections, support, meditation or encouragement the shape is significant. Shapes have been used since the birth of the human conditioning. They are reflected in every aspect of human development from the sacred to structure. In Eastern philosophies the shapes are associated with the elements of fire, earth, metal, water and wood. In the cycle of creation; fire creates earth, earth creates metal, metal creates water, water nurtures wood and wood creates fire. If one is experiencing a lack of balance mentally, emotionally, physically or spiritually these elements are used to bring balance.
When integrating crystals and stone influences the shapes can support the intention of your purpose for manifesting with them.
Some ways to use the shapes of crystals to enhance your intended experience with them

Fire Element
The fire element is reflected in a pyramid, sharp edged or flame like shapes. The shape is considered to be a yang or masculine energy. This energy adds a spark and inspires one to be motivated. In crystals it would be used to bring life to an idea, goals or area of life. If one needs energy in an endeavour this would be the shape to consider.
Earth Element
An earth element is a low, square shape. The shape is grounding and nurturing. This shape is beneficial for calming, nurturing and balancing. The intention can be for calming the environmental influences and mental, emotional, physical and spiritual experiences. This shape could be used to calm life down to create mindfulness.
Metal Element
A metal element is reflected in sphere shapes. This element reflects mindfulness or meditative state. This is the perfect shape to use in a space placements to create a calming and mindful experience.
Water Element
If the pyramid is yang, energies, water is yin or feminine energies. Water puts out fire therefore a placement for this element would be to calm a fiery space or experience down. Moving water reflects an accumulator of wealth and abundance while calm water reflects a calming state of mindfulness.
Wood Element
The wood element is a tall rectangular shape. It is connected with plants, flowers and animals and brings life to a space or experience. Wood creates fire therefore supports the inspiration and motivation of fire. If a space or experience is in need of life and activity this shape would be perfect. It is also used in healing practices.
Elements in the Crystal and Stone Qualities
Each crystal would carry the energies of these elements. It is not only the shape of the stones or crystals, it is the qualities it is the influences of their qualities. When reflecting on the qualities of the stones that have been used for centuries, consider the long term uses. They will hint at the elements. For example:
- Meditation – Metal
- Grounding – Earth
- Aliveness – Wood
- Spark/Inspiration – Fire
- Intuition – Water
The photo of crystal shapes at the beginning of this blog post reflect the shapes Renee has in her wealth corner of her desk. There are a combination of reflections, such as protection, fire (even a double point called a herkimer), reflection, mindfulness, etc. These reflect a combination of intention, focus and manifestation. This combination reminds her of her 3rd dimension needs and reminds her of her spiritual aspirations to support something greater than herself.
