#yyj suggestions to find your compassionate voice this fall – 2018

The fall is natures cycle for planting new seeds that gather nourishment through the winter and then sprout in new life come spring.  Summer is the time of  manifestation.  I enjoy using natures as an example to show that anything new takes time to blossom and one can being to find ways to expand their focus to move through seemingly difficult patterns that they find themselves in.

Below are workshop suggestions that focus on creating an inner educational experience that has the potential of one going away with the tools for focusing  attention to increase awareness of achieving a flow in  life.   These workshops involve experiencing somatic movement and its relationship to constraints affecting how one feels, thinks and speaks.  They also include a practice model with a focus on how to transition from being conflicted to one of understanding the way forward increasing the rewards of being heard, understood and accepted.

These fall workshops are designed to integrate more than one dimension of speaking and include personal skill development in awareness of :

  • Movement:  jaw, tongue, eyes, ears, neck, clavicles, shoulders, ribs, heart, arms, and more for speaking with the body (including mind & brain function)
  • Language:  expanding beyond one-dimensional thinking into a state of mindfulness of underlying intentions

  • For those with a strong inner critic (self judgement and punishment)  you will find value in the workshops which will integrate self-empathy and compassion in a unique way.  Additional support to increase being kind to one-self that compliments these workshops is available.  Check in with us on setting intentions.  This could be daily, monthly, seasonally or yearly intentions using an integrative model that has a gentle focus on the behaviours that increase the flow of life.
