How to choose an integrative learning program

Each Inside Awareness program contains essences of the others via the nature of integration. The focus of these programs is on practical applications and not old school discussion topics or comparisons. The intention is to harness the experience itself as the change agent to embodied change. Theories simply increase entrenchment to existing thoughts.

Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais a pioneer in brain development and somatic learning,and Dr Marshall Rosenberg a pioneer in spoken word patterns were the first to introduce practical applications focused on the experience that went beyond thinking into a new way of doing things.

Out beyond rightdoing and wrongdoing there is a field. I will meet you there.

From a unique vantage point of a 20 year personal practice and being a guide in the somatic learning models of Moshes and Marshalls, Renee has cultivated the understanding of how focusing attention on the facts, as experienced in the moment, triggers the brain ability to grow neural pathways. She has observed how new neural pathways changes a person’s response patterns physically, mentally and emotionally. She has witnessed how the brains behaviour doesn’t change from responding to memory’s using behaviour patterns that already exists such as; diagnosing, labeling or comparing experiences. These pre-existing and repeated thinking patterns are only becoming entrenched and rigid beliefs. Either way, both these ways of being are not wrong or right, however, it determines the path forward for ones experience. One has ease, and the other has effort. Culturally we have been taught through a model of effort.

If you are reading this you just may be ready to discover how you have a choice to either stay on that path of effort, or walk towards a new path that reduces effort.


Each programs can be enjoyed in 3 ways:

1. active lessons

2. through sessions to resolve alive and acute events

3. to connect to purpose and meaning with integrative higher learning

Start where you are

Reflecting upon your current expression of life and considering what is alive for you in moment can help you tap into the energy that motivates you to take the actions you need to create the lifestyle you hope for. This action is the starting point for balancing a lifestyle aimed at health, wealth and happiness. It is the beginning of consciously creating a lifestyle the influences your heart to sing while calming your mental critic.

So the question becomes, what area of life do you wish to focus upon changing? Take a moment to check inside to consider the 9 life areas listed below while asking yourself: How much focus do you give each one? Does one currently dominate your focus over the rest?

Identify what you are seeking from each of these 9 life areas and ask yourself if you are willing to focus your attention on this area to create change and embody it. This is the entry point to living a creative life. A life that is not predetermined by old messages.

Remember, if you are seeking solutions to fix perceived problems or validate what you already know, the path will be a repeat of existing behaviours and there will be no change.

It’s not the doing, it’s the how you are doing it that expands brain-body function and makes for a more wonderful life


1. Abundance

2. Fame

  • Fame reflects recognition and quality of how you are experienced in the world. A current example of this area being out of balance is through observing current social media behaviours. Those seeking attention through social media likes and clicks are demonstrating bizarre and dangerous behaviours. These three Inside Awareness Programs would support you to become the person you long to be :

    3. Awareness through Goals

3. Relationships

  • Relationships reflect intimate, family and community interactions and connections. Are they authentic and honest that leave you feeling as tho you matter or are they disconnected and dishonest leaving you feel empty and lost?     3. Awareness through Space

4. Past

  • Past reflects your roots and ancestors. It is the cultural pattern that you have integrated from the elders around you that influenced your early learning. This began with family and their community and expands to include teachers and education curriculums, rules of government and friend groups. 5. Health Programs

  • Health is the centerpoint and generator of a healthy or unhealthy experience. There is a choice for the level of health and wellness experienced. A health experience is not outside of one’s control. Health is influenced by the other 9 areas however it determines how you experience those other 9 areas. These three Inside Awareness Programs.can support health if this is your primary focus:

6. Future

  • Future represent creativity, fun and adventure. This includes children. Imagine being a child and experiencing your elders as viewing you as fun, adventurous and creative. This area reflects the character from which you react in all other areas. These three Inside Awareness Programs can reduce the effort in your responses by tapping into right brain qualities to reduce the learned uncreative messages received through stressed out adults in your earlier life.

  • Career is the area that represents the work you do to receive income and what your contribute to the world around you. It is the generator for your abundance and wealth, community and networking, travel and adventure, and food and activities of health area. Without an income none of the other areas could exist. Once you retire, this area may reflect your retirement actives and contributions. These three Inside Awareness Programs can support reducing a lack of balance and harmony in all these just mentioned areas that interact directly with career.
