Recently in a coaching session we discussed having a reminder for waking up to our goals throughout the day as support for achieving our intentions. In this conversation the emphasis was on visual stimulus, however it could be sound, smell, touch or taste.
Our focus was the office and afterwards I was inspired to create some desktop tips that can be used as physical reminders using an object, picture, colour or shape. The intention of these placements is to connect and focus ones attention for more clarity. Attention goes where one is focused.
Whether in fortune, fame, relationships, creativity, health, community or career these tips are for those who want to improve their office setting and experience. Read the links below for ways to improve office life through personal connection to the environment which is your landscape where your experience begins.
I recommend to take time with each area of ones desk independently to consider what influence would best suit that area. Change one area at a time leaving some time in-between to notice differences.
The following is for those wanting to connect to creating a sacred connection to this pattern of change. When you have cleared the clutter and holding a special object, say a personal blessing or prayer just before placement. For me, I use a Heart Sutra Mantra and recite it 9 times. It goes like this – Om Gate, Gate, Paragate, Parasamgate, Bodhi Svaha. It means, gone, gone, gone beyond……
Interpretation of this mantra and action is that it is a statement of intention and request followed by letting it go without any attachment. The placement announces the intention is set as it is placed. It becomes a visual reminder of what you are longing for.
