The first new moon of 2016 falls on January 9th and 10th! We are currently in a the phase of the moon that represents rest and recuperation! Follow the 8 moon phases to begin reflecting on 2016! From Inspired Goal Setting – 2016!
8th Moon Phase – Balsamic Moon – Now
This is the dark side of the moon and the last phase before a new moon. As the moon rests, it is best to let our planning mind and actins rest. As the moon is still, so are our visual minds. This is the time to be peaceful and recuperate surrendering action. .
1st Moon Phase – New Moon – Jan 9 – Jan 10, 2016
A new moon is when the moon is in its dark side. It is the best time to collect your thoughts and start to envision what you are longing for. Imagine in your hopes and dreams. These are the seed to a fresh start, a clean slate, and a new beginning
2nd Moon Phase – Crescent Moon – Jan 11th – 16th
A crescent moon is the best time to announce our intentions, hopes, and wishes for the Lunar Month. This is the time to write down your goals on paper or to begin journaling them.
3rd Moon Phase -The first quarter moon – Jan 17th
The first quarter moon is when we may meet challenges we had not prepared for. It is a time of action to decide how to proceed in order to manifest our intentions.
4th Moon Phase -Gibbous Moon – Jan 18th – 22rd
This may be a time that we change our focus of attention and wish to refine or edit our primary goals for the month. If so, this is the time to rephrase or edit our written intentions. This is the time that it is easy to accommodate and adjust.
5th Moon Phase -A full moon – Jan 23rd
The moon is full; the intention has gone out and is gathering all the circumstances and other people’s intentions. The time frame in which intention are full filled will happen in the best way for all concerned. There is still a two week time period to give your goals attention until the next new moon.
6th Moon Phase -Disseminating Moon – Jan 24th – Jan 31st
Devote time during this moon phase to share your goals with others and express appreciation as though your intentions are already done. . Get those close to you to wish you well and keep good thoughts for you.
7th Moon Phase – Last Quarter Moon – Jan 31st – Feb 1st
This moon phase supports letting go of attachments to others that have not met your needs that have caused feelings of hurt, pain or suffering. It is the time for release and letting go of these circumstances as best as you can and releasing them to the universe finding forgiveness.
